I am locked inside a box,
It’s not that I am obliged to,
But I chose to.
Not because I want solitude,
But because I want to survive, I want to live.
While everyone’s watching movies,
Netflix and chill,
I’m enhancing my talents.
I have a chore to keep.
I get handed expensive papers every week or two.
I have a dream to fulfill.
Every day is a job well done.
New learnings from both left and right,
Eternity tasks from top to bottom (Oh wait, I said “eternity”, right?)
My bad.
I sometimes get jealous of my friends,
They already watched sand of series and tv shows.
Had 12 hours of sleep,
And unlimited Facebook scrolling.
“Good thing, shared posts are free.”
These days,
I am like a horse,
I have a focus.
And… An urgency to take.
The good thing about being inside the box,
You can control what or who you let in.
Noises, people, unnecessary topics,
What else?
Dramas?
I needed to be safe.
I have dreams to fulfill.
